You can easily shoot videos & transfer it to computers via email or upload it directly to the YouTube application.

Advantages are:

• Decent Photo quality
• Excellent video playback.
• Support Goggle Maps & TeleNav.
• Decent Call quality

Disadvantages are:

• Mediocre Web and Camera capabilities
• Average Speakerphone quality.
• No Q-W-E-R-T-Y keyboard.
• Poor user interface.
• You cant connect headset & charge phone at same time.

Summary
Though Samsung Equinox has average camera , web qualities and without any email service, the only thing that lets drives you to purchase this phone is its look (flap phone) and its price.

Windows Mobile 7 will apparently use apps that are written in Silverlight, unlike the native code in today's Windows Mobile. So when the apps are totally different, that mean's it's really a totally new platform, which will replace today's Windows Phones.

While it may be exciting that a new phone operating system is on its way, it really makes today's Windows Phones obsolete, as they will be the end of the line for that OS. I think it would be better to wait for the new platform to arrive, rather than getting today's Windows Phones.

This is true. But it's not only the operating system that relies on a stylus pen. So do the vast majority of applications.

So there's the dilemma. The world has reject the stylus. Popular phone platforms like Android and iPhone are designed to be used with a modern touch interface.

Because the Windows Mobile software and apps still need a stylus, that creates incompatibilities with the capacitive touch screen of the HTC HD2.

It's from New Zealand, but it makes comprehensible what may have happened with the Nexus One in the US. In all likelihood, "data roaming" was on by default in the Wireless Settings and a person's *initial* 3G connection may not have been on their own network. People to have turned the roaming off and re-registered on their 'home' networks appear to resolve any 3G problems. Not sure who to blame for this. Google or the currently flakey and inconsistent state of 3G inter-operations among carriers on a variety of frequencies with diverse fine performance settings.

I cannot find a port for the Samsung galaxy i7500, but did find a petition here for Samsung to actually port to Android 2.0 http://www.petitionspot.com...

The HTC Bravo will probably be the best phone on the market.

It's Android OS is fully optimized for the Snapdragon processor, so it'll run very fast. It will also take advantage of the processor's modern features, such as the 720p high-definition video which every Snapdragon has.

You'll notice that the Windows Mobile phones on the snapdragon (such as the HTC HD2) can't recognize the video hardware inside.

The HTC Bravo will be marketed in the US as the 'HTC Passion', and will first appear on the Verizon network (Verizon has already set up a website for it).

Notice the Bravo also has been blessed with one of the new brighter AMOLED (organic light emitting diode) screens. Its predecessors only had less efficient LCD TFT screens.

I appreciate your article. It's interesting to read. Nokia's is the second major recall to hit the computing industry in recent weeks. There are only three models of the BYD chargers which is defective. Nokia users with defective chargers are urged to stop using them immediately, though no cases of injury resulting from these three charger models have been reported.

You are 100% right but the question is: isn't Samsung responsible for the support after sales? That brings another question for Samsung: if they cannot control the Support for every phone that they introduce then why don't they reduce the number of products and concentrate more in the best few phones that they have?

There's only one problem with Microsoft's plan. It can't get it's act together on the phone part. All the handset makers are dumping Microsoft's 'Windows Phones', as nobody wants them. It doesn't matter what game engine is attached to a phone, if the phone itself is a load of ****.

I think Sony has nothing to worry about!

2.1 is actually still Éclair, Flan will be a major release. (Maybe 2.5? and 3.0 is said to be gingerbread) I am planning on getting this device; it will be a lot better with 2.1... 1.6 has a limitation of only being able to display 65K colours on the screen. I really like mediascape; it's a ALOT better than the stock media player on android. Ideally, I would want the stock ROM of android 2.1 with mediascape downloaded from the market. SEs design is nice, but I don't think that they have properly utilized the 1Ghz CPU + the blue background is really off putting, reminds me of windows 98. I've always been a big fan of SE, they are just frustrating in with the way the work. Finally an Android device with a decent camera, shame it can't record at 720p...
